Given yesterday’s post, I began to wonder; if cars are being run by computers, what is to stop a devious criminal from hacking into your car and driving you to wherever they want?
Would unscrupulous business owners hire people to divert traffic to their shops? Criminals kidnap high profile people? Would people pay vast sums of money to have a car that wasn’t run by a computer?
If you were a criminal and had hacked the car system, what would you do?

You have the makings of a story. Might even be funny.

The only thing I can say is: Shadowrun is now.
I would use my illegal access mainly to give me green lights, and divert traffic away so I have some peace and quite. But consider that planes are already flying with the help of computers and the pilots are just as overseers.
Until today I never heard that a criminal/organization was able to crack the autopilot of a commercial airliner or à la Die Hard take over a tower to falsify Input. In the end if we had that technology it would not be as easy as hacking a twitter account with the password: 12345.
But the commercial part will happen a lot faster. So it will be like google if you have the money you will be on the first page or the right customers will drive by your shop…
